crash of the world's largest kite

the largest kite in the world made a memorable visit to the Uchinada Kite Festival

here it was from a distance, those two loaders were used to anchor the thing to the ground.

its been quite an intense last 3 days of golden week in japan. With friends from the states in town, beautiful weather, and lots of stuff going on, ive taken a lot of pictures which ill put up eventually. here are a couple highlights.
